Delete Your Account
You can permanently delete your Backgammon Sage Pro account and all of the data associated with it at any time. This page explains exactly what gets deleted and the different ways to request it — including if you no longer have the app installed.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. When your account is deleted, we remove all of the data tied to it, including:
- ▸Your account and profile
- ▸Saved games and match history
- ▸Performance (PR) statistics and analysis
- ▸Saved positions and quiz history
- ▸Player accounts you created
- ▸Preferences and settings
- ▸Your sign-in (authentication) record
- ▸Your subscription is cancelled
How to delete your account
Choose whichever option fits your situation.
In the app (iPhone, iPad, or Android)
Open Backgammon Sage Pro, go to Settings, open the User tab, and tap Delete Subscription. You'll be asked to confirm twice before anything is deleted.

Sign in at sage.bgsage.ai, open Settings, go to the User tab, and tap Delete Subscription. Confirm twice to complete the deletion.

Email support@bgsage.ai from the email address on your account and ask us to delete your account. We'll verify your request and complete the deletion for you.
Subscriptions & billing
Deleting your account cancels your subscription. How the cancellation happens depends on where you originally subscribed:
- ▸Web (card / Stripe) and Google Play subscriptions are cancelled automatically when you delete your account.
- ▸Apple App Store subscriptions are managed by Apple and can only be cancelled by you. When you delete from the iOS app, we show you Apple's Manage Subscriptions screen so you can cancel right there.
Timing & what we may keep
Deletions you make in the app or on the web take effect immediately. Requests sent by email are completed within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
In limited cases we may retain a small amount of information after your account is deleted:
- ▸Billing and transaction records that our payment processors are required to keep for tax, accounting, and legal compliance.
- ▸Records of multiplayer games that another player took part in may remain in that other player's match history.
- ▸Anonymous or aggregated data that can no longer be used to identify you.
